Welcome to our community of educators, former and present, made for just teachers by teachers.
Our History
Teachers For Travel was founded in 2020 as a solution to the pandemic's impact on education. Schools across the United States had to shut their doors, leaving students with learning gaps and teachers with the challenge to continue educating through virtual learning. We would like to honor and reward these heroes for staying the course.
Our Mission
We are currently building a foundation to provide opportunities for instructional K -12 classroom teachers in the United States to go overseas using travel grants while bringing back real-life experiences to share with their classrooms. This will allow K-12 classroom teachers to enhance their teaching skills, lesson planning, and student interactions. These opportunities will be life-changing experiences for each recipient.
